I love helping people and my whole professional life has involved me helping others; whether giving customers outstanding service or when coaching my colleagues to help them increase their ability and realise their potential. Coaching is a skill I have been using unknowingly for almost all my life. I have been consciously coaching for about two years now and I have a friendly and relaxed style with my clients.

I was born in Edinburgh where I was also educated to degree level. I am married to Anne, an office manager in Edinburgh with a leading charity. One of my favourite activities is cycling and this is also one of my primary means of transport. Keeping fit is important to me so I attend a gym 2-3 times a week as well. Every morning, I like to get my day off to a great start with some motivating and calming mental exercises to clear my mind and recharge my batteries.

For entertainment I like theatre, watching films and listening to the radio. I am also a season ticket holder for the Edinburgh Gunners rugby team.

I am not afraid to make changes in my life either. Three years ago, Anne and I decided to get rid of the TV. I have never missed it!
